Operational Instructions
Follow the instructions given below to achieve optimum results.
Step I : Surface Preparation
Surface to be painted must be clean and dry and free of oil , rust ,dirt or other surface contaminants and should not be hot. Use mild solvent to prepare the surface. Apply filler primer / putty , if bare surface is found to be exposed.
Step II : Getting Ready
Shake the can vigorously till rattling sound of mixing ball inside the can is clearly heard, Continue shaking further for about a minute so that the contents are properly mixed. This is the only way to obtain the right colour .
Step III : Spraying
Carry out spraying in a well ventilated and illuminated place. Always spray on a test piece first to confirm the shade and the spray pattern. Hold the can upright at around 25 to 30 cm from the surface and depress the spray nozzle fully and spray thin coats from side to side by moving can slowly and evenly back and forth. This will control the amount of paint falling on the object and avoid building of excess coat and formation of lear drops. Evenly apply only light “mist” coats. Two thin coats at the interval of 15 to 20 min will provide better results than one heavy coat. Use the spray can between 16o to 50 o Celsius for maximum efficiency.
Step IV : Strong After Use
Invert the can after use and press the nozzle for few seconds to clean the valve mechanism and avoid clogging. Store the can in the cool place and in the horizontal position.
